Akij Takaful Life Insurance PLC. successfully held its 5th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on 24 August 2026 at Akij House, Dhaka. The shareholders approved the Audited Financial Statements for 2025, along with the Auditor’s Report and Valuation Report, and approved the stock dividend to shareholders and reversionary bonus for eligible participating policyholders. The shareholders also approved the reappointment of Hoda Vasi Chowdhury & Co., Chartered Accountants, as Statutory Auditor for 2026. The Chairman and Managing Director & CEO highlighted the Company’s progress, financial performance, business expansion, sound governance, and commitment to Shariah-compliant takaful solutions. The Board expressed appreciation to all stakeholders and reaffirmed its commitment to sustainable growth and long-term value creation.
